Our goal is to offer a smooth, memorable, and enjoyable island experience. Before booking, please take a moment to read the following terms, which help set clear expectations for everyone involved.

1. Bookings, Changes & Cancellations

• Due to limited seating (6 seats), full payment is required at the time of booking via our secure system or internet banking, no cash are accepted.

• More than 7 days before the tour date, cancellations will receive a full refund, minus any applicable administration or payment processing fees.

• Between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour date
  A refund of 50% of the booking amount will be issued, minus any administration or payment fees.

• Within 48 hours of the tour date, no-shows, or late arrivals
  Unfortunately, no refunds can be provided.

Small/Large Group Bookings

Please contact us in advance to organise your group booking, we are happy to accomodate you in the best way possible.

2. Rescheduling

If you need to change your booking date, please notify us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour time. Requests made after this period may not be accommodated.

3. Age Requirements & Participation

Participants must be 18 years or older to join the tour. Valid photo identification may be required at venues serving alcohol.
 

4. Ferry Travel & Arrival Times

Waiheke Island is accessed by ferry, and guests are responsible for arranging their own ferry transport.

• Please ensure you are familiar with ferry schedules and allow sufficient travel time.

• It is essential to arrive on time at the designated meeting point.

We cannot issue refunds for missed tours due to late arrival or missed ferries.
In some cases, alternative transport may be arranged to rejoin the group, but this cannot be guaranteed and would be at the guest’s own expense.
 

5. Weather Conditions

Tours generally operate in most weather conditions, including light rain.

Our vehicles are equipped to ensure comfort, and drop-off points are planned to minimise inconvenience.

Tours will only be cancelled in cases of severe weather, such as strong winds or ferry service cancellations. If this occurs, you will be contacted promptly with options to reschedule or receive a refund in line with our cancellation policy.
 

6. Tour Inclusions

All scheduled tastings at partner venues are included in the tour price.
Food offerings may include shared gourmet plates and a lunch experience, as outlined in the tour description at the time of booking.
 

7. Conduct & Safety

To comply with New Zealand law and ensure a pleasant experience for all guests:

• Smoking, vaping, and alcohol consumption are not permitted in the tour vehicle.

• Guests who are disruptive, intoxicated, or behave inappropriately may be asked to leave the tour without entitlement to a refund.

• Partner venues reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated individuals, in accordance with local regulations. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

We also reserve the right to decline participation if excessive alcohol consumption is suspected prior to the tour. Where possible, we will assist with safe transport back to the ferry terminal or accommodation.
 

8. Damage & Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to vehicles, venues, or property during the tour.

• Cleaning fees ranging from NZD $100 to $500 may apply if vehicles require professional cleaning due to damage or soiling.

• Costs may be charged to the payment method used for booking or payable on the day.

The Italian On Waiheke is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings. While we will make reasonable efforts to return items left behind, we cannot guarantee recovery.
 

9. Pricing & Currency

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise.
 

10. Acceptance of Terms

By completing a booking through our website or via Wix Bookings, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
